U Hotel is a new boutique hotel brand for which Red Design was appointed to design all pubic areas, including lobby, restaurant and roof terrace bar.  The scope also included the architectural design of a new glass addition to the lobby, creating a clean, refined architectural impression for customers.

The design draws inspiration from the latest hotel trends: stone and brass details combine with sinouous curves and bold architectural forms to create a sense of contemporary luxury.

The hotel opened in Summer 2017 and introduced a new level of creativity and design thinking to the Qingdao hotel market.
