Saigon Mama has grown from an unpromising first location in an underused garage space at the Shanghai Centre to the leading Vietnamese casual dining brand in China.

Red Design worked closely with Thread, Shanghai’s leading branding agency and long-time Red collaborator, to produce a concept for Saigon Mama which would appeal to the local white collar demographic.  A palette of teal and orange, derived from vintage 80’s food packaging, combined with a strong graphic style in an interior which is rich in colour, texture and detail.
